Earlier this month, the administration’s 4th quarter 2014 Budget Update revealed an annual operating surplus of $1.15 million – the County’s second annual budget surplus after five years of deficits. “An unexpected increase in prior-year tax collections” by our office was credited in helping drive the surplus.
